Atum-Ra System / Pocket Dimension

What This Is

Kemetopolis is a city-planet in the Atum-Ra system, in a pocket dimension, founded by Amenirdis and kept secret from Earth, which it calls Alkebulan.

The law underneath everything: reality answers to its true name. The world has a source code and the source code is speech. Learn what a thing is really called and it does what you say.

Every surface in the city is talking, and most of it is trying to sell you something. The city has to be kept alive on purpose, spoken true every day, or it rots. That daily fight is the engine of every story.

Elsewhere in the Work

Kemetopolis Immersive

The city as wearable artifact. Names as Adinkra glyphs, architecture that runs code.

The Weekly Dispatch

Blaq Comix. Spoken-name battles are inherently visual, the name manifesting as it leaves the mouth.

Cosmic TV

Broadcast. The Shu domain built into infrastructure, running live.

Greenrose

Records. An archive of a different kind, kept by other means.

Logistical Logistics

Operations. The bureaucracy of magic, a line at the office to renew the permit to light your own stove.

Marc Joy Media

The Dream Terminal. Every world in the studio, one index.

Still unlinked: Scattered Thrones, Blaq Timbre, The Obsidian Feed and NeverOneMonth have no public destination yet.

Kemetopolis is a property of Marc Joy Media. Built in Seattle. We dream in public.
